10th of Wu-ly

Hope y'all have been enjoying Le Tour, I have been and I look forward to the fireworks to come. Hopefully today's climb to Andorre Arcalis does not disappoint. I'm heading back to the homeland of NC on Sunday which means that I will not have to get up at the ass crack o'dawn to catch the stages, but I guess when it comes down to it, 8AM right coast time is still 5AM left coast time, only difference is the sun has already been up for two hours. Anyway, I'm looking forward to generally dicking around in the boat and at the beach for the next week and enjoying some Carolina coastal living.

The God of Thunder

drops the proverbial hammer on the peleton.

Nice to see someone other than chucklehead Cavendish win a sprint for a change. The upward facing finish was for the real hard men as Phil and Paul so eloquently blathered.
Is it just me or has this been an exceptionally exciting first week of Le Tour?

And for those few who frequent this site often, you'll be happy to see a different header for our "links" column on the side. I found that beauty at bbb.

Outta luck like two dogs stuck

It's raining and I'm stuck at work cowering behind my computer screen. Stupidly I brought nothing that resembles rain gear with me this morning. So I figured I'd pass some time bloggin'. It's either that or look at porn. On second thoug
Okay I'm back. Yes it was quick. Now about my unhappy predicament - I of all people should have seen rain
coming seeing as how the Viking removed the fenders from his hipster death machine yesterday. He also de-clawed said machine by giving it a freewheel. Sensible maneuver.
Aight, it looks as if the rain has subsided sufficiently for me to get home without melting. I leave you with more TDF carnage for your troubles...

...does this come to mind?

Rugged

I always get a little nervous watching the run in on a sprinter's stage...

Tour Day France

Damn, just three days in and things are beginning to hot up on the tarmac as Armstring is already tickling the podium. Yeah it's early but I consider today's maneuverings a purpose pitch at Contador's head. A little chin music from a wily veteran. Things are looking hopeful that this will turn into an all out war that rips team Astana into shreds...a boy can dream can't he?

3rd of Wu-ly

This is off GZA's Beneath the Surface album; the track was produced by Arabian Knight

How many other hip-hop artists would use "molecular" in a song? Mos, Talib and Pharoahe Monch come to mind...

Hopefully we can all keep our digits out of the way of explosive devices this weekend. Now go ride bikes and light firecrackers.
